Lunch Program
C2E is now using District Nutrition Services for our lunch program. The cost is $2.50 a lunch which includes milk. An extra milk is .35 cents. You can pay on a day to day basis, or pay a large sum so that your students may have a lunch if they forget to bring one.
Parent Student Handbook
The parent student handbook describes the contract between the school and students and parents. Rules and regulations, processes, dress code, etc. are all spelled out in the Parent Student Handbook. Click on the following to view or download the Parent Student Handbook.
C2E Student Parent Handbook 2008-2009
C2E has a dress code policy that must be followed by all students. The students will be checked by the staff and members of the governing board as they enter the building in the morning. If they are not dressed correctly, they will be sent to the office to call their parents for a change of clothes. Any sweaters and other forms of spiritwear may be worn in the building only if they have the C2E logo on it.

Every Thursday, various fliers, permission slips, and more are sent home in the "Thursday Folder." We'll archive the information up into a single document here... and save as long as space allows. These archived versions include documents that may have been sent out to other classes. We are currently in the process of trying to find an easy way to clearly mark which document was for which grade or class, we'll rely on your own knowledge to sort that out. Warning: These can be fairly large!

Attendance
Daily school attendance is not only mandatory, it is absolutely essential to ensure that each student masters grade level standards.
Class begins at 8:00 am every morning. The tardy bell is at 8:10 am. If your children are not going to make it to their class on time, you must park in the designated parking spaces and sign your children in at the front office. If you do not sign them in, they will have an unexcused tardy.
Carpool begins at 3:20 pm. If you need to pick up your children from school early, please do so before 3:00 p.m. We can not dismiss students between 3:00 & 3:20 pm. It is very difficult to locate them as they are at lockers/cubbies and switching classrooms as they prepare to leave for the day.
You must call your child in when they are absent. They must be called in on the attendance line by 9:00 a.m. When we don't have a message about your child's absence by 9:00 a.m. they are marked unexcused. When calling the attendance line, please remember to list the following information:
- Name of student who is absent
- Date or dates of absence
- Reason for absence
- Name of your child's teacher
When lightning is in the area the students will be kept in the school and can only be dismissed when you come to the door to pick them up. We cannot send a child out from under cover with lightning in the area, however, you can come in to get them if you feel comfortable doing so. If you are uncomfortable getting out of your car, please wait until the weather has moved away.
